So a recent weekend fishing trip with my wife Terri yielded this monster Striped Bass out of Rio Vista. The weather was perfect May springtime goodness. She had been getting a series of small bites on her rod as the little guys were tearing up the bloodworm bait. She was vigilant and set the hook on this beast and yelled for me to "Get The Camera I have A Fish!!" Not get the the net or get the gaft or a handgun or a stick or harpoon but get the camera. These are the times we live in where the thought of recording the moment is more important than the moment itself. I enjoyed my day with my wife and we had a nice dinner that night at the Mecca Mexican Resturant in Pittsburg that evenning. The perfect close to a perfect date.
