Status update

Greetings people things, I wanted to chime in, and give status on where I will be next week for signings. But first, I'll fill you in on writing progress for last week.
Some of my writer friends, and family and I, have been flexing the golden chops on flash fictions. These are fast and fun forays into the fecundity of flash fiction. We have already knocked out a few and I think, that it is something that we will continue for a while. So far we did prompts on; Urban legends, and or myths, and planetary religious groups. I am happy that we are all exercising the writing muscles--on our quest for a million words each--needed until, we actually nail down our individual voices.(just speaking for myself here, as they are already the pinnacle of literari).

For those who were following me on twitter, I, had to change my name. My new Twitter is IamTonyhorton.

On Facebook I am Anthony Horton.

Also, I have started a separate blog on Wordpress for the actual Speculative Fiction things. With the intention to keep the blogger for personal interaction and thoughts.
you can catch the stories at www.unkletone.wordpress.com

All of us are doing great over here in Sacramento, it has been cold and foggy but hardly any rain to speak of. Wade,Marquel and I, have gone fishing for striped bass a few Sundays in a row now, and only have stolen bait and empty crills due to (Houdini taught), little bait snatchers. The new puppy Suri, is getting big and is a heart stealer so tie them down. Terri is doing fantastic with her mom, and the pup, keeping her busy.

I am hard at work on my next short story, tentatively titled 'The Underthings'. Should be done in a week or so. Also in process of rewriting, revising a Neanderthal short story also.

In the beginning of this post I said, I would tell you, were I'd be for signings, and well... I'll be in my car driving to banks and medical supply offices, on my day job as a courier driver. (yes, I fancy myself the Jason Statham type)
I just wanted to start seeding what it must be like for a working author.
Some day!
To mis-quote Yoda in context, "You will be.. You will be.."

Adios
